Diplomatic Protection Group

The Diplomatic Protection Group (DPG) is a specialized unit that focuses on ensuring the safety and security of diplomats during their road travels within the San Andreas State territory. Given the high mobility and diverse routes diplomats might take, this division is tasked with escorting diplomatic convoys, responding to road incidents involving diplomats, and maintaining the security and integrity of routes frequently used by foreign dignitaries. Officers within this division receive specialized training in vehicular tactics, close protection during transit, and rapid response to road-based threats. By providing a secure traveling environment, the Highway Patrol's DPG ensures that diplomats can conduct their duties seamlessly.

The Diplomatic Protecetion Group (DPG) operates from both  Los Santos and Blaine County and is responsible for the protection of state constitutional officers including: the Governor,  First Lady, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, State Controller, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the State Insurance Commissioner. When director by the Commissioner's Office, DPS Provides protective services to other elected officials. DPS also provides, as directed, protective services to national and international dignitaries who are visiting San Andreas on official business. This includes: the advance security assessments of sites and locations to be visited, safe and secure transportation, protection at designated venues, collaboration with allied agency law enforcement, and other services as required

Strategic Intervention Group

The Strategic Intervention Group (SIG) is an elite and specialized unit dedicated to addressing and mitigating high-risk and complex situations that fall beyond the scope of regular security or law enforcement duties. Trained extensively in tactics, negotiations, rapid response, and threat assessment, SIG personnel are adept at handling situations such as terrorist threats, large-scale public disturbances, and other significant security challenges. Their advanced skill set, combined with state-of-the-art equipment, allows them to act swiftly and decisively in crisis scenarios. By offering rapid deployment capabilities and multidimensional strategies, the Strategic Intervention Group plays a crucial role in ensuring public safety, maintaining order, and bolstering confidence in security and law enforcement agencies. 

Additionally the Strategic Intervention Group is dedicated to handling high-risk situations on the nation's highways and major roadways. This specialized team is trained to intervene in incidents that escalate beyond the scope of regular highway patrol duties, such as vehicular terrorism threats, high-speed pursuits involving dangerous individuals, and large-scale disruptions that can jeopardize public safety. With a skill set that encompasses advanced driving techniques, tactical communication, and rapid threat assessment, the SIG ensures that any potential crisis on the roadways is addressed efficiently and effectively.
