OUR MISSION


The mission of the San Andreas Highway Patrol Internal Affairs Division (IAD) is to conduct thorough, timely, and impartial investigations of alleged misconduct by the members of the San Andreas Highway Patrol. These investigations will be appropriately documented in a legal and ethical manner. The IAD is staffed by department supervisors chosen by the Commissioner of the Highway Patrol. These chosen members investigate all complaints submitted using the SAHP IAD Complaint Form, and issue appropriate mediative actions to combat misconduct.

If you find yourself in need of filing a formal complaint on one of our Troopers, please complete the form below with as much detail as possible; you may be contacted for an interview within 48 hours of filing the complaint.

* If you are reporting a Trooper for a violation of the San Andreas Highway Patrol  Standard Operating Procedures please file the San Andreas Highway Patrol Complaint Form. with exception to (i.e. racism, sexism, harassment), please file a report on the Community Internal Affairs Complaint Form. or if the Trooper you're reporting is the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner, please file the Community Internal Affairs complaint form.
